Uni-assist will check them and return a preliminary inspection documentation (in German: Vorprüfungsdokumentation, VPD), which contains information regarding an applicant's entitlement to study in Germany. The VPD then has to be submitted at the Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt.

  • !!! Attention: In case your relevant pre-studies were acquired in China, India or Vietnam you need an APS certificate in order to apply at uni-assist!!!

Deadlines for applications for the summer term: We recommend submitting the documents at uni-assist until 5th of December as the VPD then has to be submitted at the Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt until 15th of January at the latest.

Deadlines for applications for the winter term: We recommend submitting the documents at uni-assist until 1st of June as the VPD then has to be submitted at the Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt until 15th of July at the latest.

Application at uni-assist is possible during the whole year, you don't have to wait for the application period to start.
