Applicants

have to apply twice.
a) Submit
documents at uni-assist (https://my.uni-assist.de/ ). uni-assist will check them
and return a preliminary inspection documentation (in German:
Vorprüfungsdokumentation, VPD), which contains information regarding an
applicant's entitlement to study in Germany. The VPD then has to be submitted
to Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt. A VPD is valid for three years.
!!!
Attention: In case your relevant pre-studies were acquired in China, India or
Vietnam you need an APS certificate in order to apply at uni-assist!!!
Deadlines
for applications for the summer term: We recommend submitting the documents
to uni-assist until 5th of December as the VPD then has
to be submitted at the Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt until 15th of January
at the latest.
Application at uni-assist is possible during the whole year, you don't
have to wait for the application period to start.
b) Apply online at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt (https://www3.primuss.de/cgi-bin/bew_anmeldung/index.pl ).
The application period for the
summer term (starting 15th of March) is from 15th of November to 15th of
January.
There you will have to upload all the necessary documents including your VPD. You can still upload documents within the respective periods (there will be deadlines per document in the upload area) after you sent your application online (there is no need to send hardcopies for an application).
