Tuition fees may be waived in accordance with § 15 GebEntgS. Further details are set out in the Tuition Fee Waiver and Scholarship Guidelines. According to § 3 Para. 1 Tuition Fee Waiver and Scholarship Guidelines, a qualification-based scholarship may be awarded in accordance with criteria that align with the university’s objectives of attracting particularly gifted students, attracting female students from an international background (particularly in STEM subjects) and attracting students from regions that do not correspond to THI’s priority country clusters. Selection and award are carried out by the relevant Program Director within the application procedure in accordance with §§ 3 Para. 2, 5 Para. 2 Tuition Fee Waiver and Scholarship Guidelines.
