Applicants who did not acquire their school leaving certificate in the Federal
Republic of Germany have to apply twice.
a) Submit documents to uni-assist (https://my.uni-assist.de/ ). uni-assist will check them and
return a preliminary inspection documentation (in German:
Vorprüfungsdokumentation, VPD), which contains information regarding an
applicant's entitlement to study in Germany. The VPD then has to be submitted
to Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt. A VPD is valid for three years.
!!! Attention: In case your relevant previous
education was acquired in China, India or Vietnam you need an APS certificate
in order to apply at uni-assist!!!
Deadlines for applications for the summer term: We recommend
submitting the documents to uni-assist until 5th of December as the VPD then has to
be submitted at the Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt until 15th of January at
the latest.
Application at uni-assist is possible during
the whole year, you don't have to wait for the application period to start.
