VPN on work devices

    On work devices, login with VPN-Connect is available. This uses the certificate of your computer as the second authentication factor.

    Installation instructions for ZITS computers, if VPN-Connect is not yet installed:

    1. Save your work and close any running programs, as a restart of the computer will be required during installation.
    2. Start the "Enterprise Portal" program. You can find the program in the Windows Start menu. Simply open the Start menu and type "Enterprise Portal".
    3. Start the "Fortinet" installation program in the software center.
    4. The new version of FortiClient will now be installed. The computer will automatically restart during this process.
    5. After the restart, start the FortiClient VPN as usual and confirm the license terms.
    6. During the first start, you must select your computer's name in the "User Certificate" field. The name is readable on the back of your computer.
