For easy and secure configuration of Eduroam, we recommend the official GetEduroam App. The app automatically sets up the network on various devices and ensures all settings are correctly configured.
For macOS, manually installing a
Manual Configuration (only for experts, not possible on Android from version 11 onwards)Eduroam is the standard WLAN of THI.
The following settings must be configured manually if automatic setup is not possible.
Authentication for university staff and students:
.mobileconfig profile is currently the available option. You need to select THI via https://cat.eduroam.org/ and download the profile. Manual Configuration (only for experts, not possible on Android from version 11 onwards)Eduroam is the standard WLAN of THI.
The following settings must be configured manually if automatic setup is not possible.
- SSID: eduroam
- Encryption: WPA2 Enterprise AES
- Authentication: IEEE 802.1x standard (PEAP – MSCHAPv2)
- Protection: Protected EAP (PEAP) version 0
